Two new Lyon County COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday

Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday in Lyon County by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

The new cases were a woman in her 50s with a social connection to a previously reported case and a man in his 70s with no connection to a previously reported case.

In the Quad-County region, there were 14 new cases and five recoveries reported Tuesday.

There have been 149 total cases in Lyon County, with 112 recoveries and two deaths.

As of 6 p.m. July 14, 69 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

In all, there have now been 474 total cases, 322 recoveries and eight deaths in the Quad-County region. Sixteen Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
