The Quad County Emergency Operations Center on Tuesday reported two deaths of Lyon County residents with COVID-19.
Both of the people who died were women, one in her 90s with underlying health conditions, and the other in her 80s with no underlying conditions.
In addition, Quad County EOC reported three new cases and four recoveries Monday, then four cases and nine recoveries on Tuesday.
There have been 521 total cases in Lyon County, 70 of them currently active, with 443 recoveries and 10 deaths.

As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Oct. 12, 206 total cases have been reported and 23 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. There have now been 1,516 total cases, 1,337 recoveries and 19 deaths in the Quad-County region.
