Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Quad County Emergency Operations Center in Lyon County Wednesday and five Thursday, along with three recoveries Wednesday and four Thursday.
There have been 428 total cases in Lyon County, 51 of them currently active, with 370 recoveries and seven deaths.
As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Sept. 23, 180 total cases have been reported and 19 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. There have now been 1,272 total cases, 1,146 recoveries and 16 deaths in the Quad-County region.
