Three new Lyon County COVID-19 cases, one recovery reported Monday

The Quad-County Emergency Operations Center reported three new cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County and one recovery Monday.

The new cases are two men in their 20s and a man in his 40s.

There have now been 65 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County and 48 people have recovered, with one death. In the most recent update by Carson City Health and Human Services, 28 of Lyon County’s cases have been in the 89408 zip code, as of 6 p.m. May 31.

In the Quad County region, there have now been 197 total cases, 144 recoveries and five deaths. Two Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
