Three new Lyon County COVID-19 case, one recovery reported Friday

Three new cases of COVID-19 and one recovery in Lyon County were reported Friday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

The new cases announced Friday were a man in his 50s with no connection to a previously reported case, a woman in her 20s with a connection to a previously reported case and man in his 30s with no connection to a previously reported case.

There have been 126 total cases in Lyon County, with 94 recoveries and two deaths.

As of 6 p.m. July 2, 57 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

In all, there were 11 new cases and two recoveries in the Quad-County region Thursday. There have now been 372 total cases, 260 recoveries and seven deaths in the Quad-County region. Thirteen Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
