Three more Lyon County COVID-19 cases Saturday brings county total to 26

The Quad-County Emergency Operations Center announced seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Saturday, including three in Lyon County.

Lyon County’s new cases include a man in his 60’s, a woman in her 70’s and a girl under the age of 18. The county now has had a total of 26 confirmed cases, with 21 of them still active and five recoveries,

Three of the new cases were in Carson City, and one in Douglas County. In addition, a new recovery in Douglas County was announced Saturday.

There are now a total of 82 confirmed cases in the Quad-County region, with 28 recoveries and one death.

There are two Quad-County residents hospitalized due to COVID-19.
