The seventh death of a Lyon County resident with COVID-19 was reported Friday by the Quad County Emergency Operations Center, along with four new cases and two recoveries.
The person who died was a man in his 80s with underlying health conditions.
There have been 407 total cases in Lyon County, 50 of them currently active, with 350 recoveries and seven deaths.

As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Sept. 20, 173 total cases have been reported and 16 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. There have now been 1,225 total cases, 1,078 recoveries and 16 deaths in the Quad-County region.

I understand your reporting Covid - 19 cases in Lyon County. However, I, as a local resident would also like to know what CITY the events take place in. Is that information not for public awareness? If so, please explain why...
