One new Lyon County COVID-19 case Tuesday

One new confirmed case of COVID-19 in Lyon County and five in Carson City, as well as three new recoveries, were reported Tuesday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

The newest Lyon County case is a woman in her 70’s, bringing the county’s total to 27 cases, with 22 active. There have been five recoveries in Lyon County.

Two of the new recoveries are in Carson City, and one in Douglas County.

In all, the number of confirmed cases in the Quad-Counties is 90, with 34 recoveries and one death. Of those, there have been 44 cases in Carson City, with 18 recoveries and one death, and 19 in Douglas County, with 11 recoveries.

Four of the 55 Quad County residents with active cases are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

As of April 27, there has been approximately 1,404 tests performed by all providers within the Quad-Counties.

    We are told how many covid19 cases are in Carson City, CC is not a county. We never hear how many cases in Gardnerville. Gardnerville is not a county either. I would like to know if any of those cases in Douglas County are in Gardnerville. Thank you
