One new Lyon County COVID-19 case, three recoveries reported Thursday

One new case of COVID-19 in Lyon County and three recoveries were confirmed Thursday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

The new Lyon County case is a woman in her 20s, the county’s 37th total case. Of those, 19 have now recovered.

There were no other new cases, but one other recovery in the Quad County region reported Thursday.

The Quad-County region has now had 110 total cases, 69 recoveries and one death. There are 40 active cases, with three of those patients hospitalized.

Community-based testing for those without symptoms continued today with almost 400 people being tested in Lyon County. On Tuesday, 417 were tested at the Carson City sites. Quad County EOS has received 200 of the 417 results and they are negative for COVID-19.
