One new Lyon County COVID-19 case, one recovery reported Sunday

One new cases of COVID-19 and one recovery of a previous case were reported Sunday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

The new case is a man in his 30s with a connection to a previous case.

Lyon County has had a total of 99 confirmed cases, with 72 of them having recovered. There have been two deaths in the county due to COVID-19.

As of 6 p.m. June 20, 44 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

In the Quad County region, there have now been 280 total cases, 209 recoveries and seven deaths. Six Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
