One new case of COVID-19 and four recoveries in Lyon County were reported Wednesday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The new case Wednesday is a woman in her 50s with no connection to a previously reported case.
In the Quad-County region, there were a total of 11 new cases and 14 recoveries reported Wednesday.
There have been 162 total cases in Lyon County, 34 of them currently active, with 126 recoveries and two deaths.
As of 6 p.m. July 21, 75 total cases have been reported and 16 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. In all, there have now been 543 total cases, 396 recoveries and nine deaths in the Quad-County region. Thirteen Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
