The NV Energy Foundation has made changes to its grant application process effective Jan. 1, 2018.
The Foundation Grant Committee will now review and award proposals quarterly in one of four designated categories. This new approach allows the Foundation Committee the opportunity to review all applications in the same category simultaneously, creating a more efficient way of processing applications. It also helps objectively identify projects in each category that best align with the Foundation’s focus areas.
Applications should now be submitted quarterly by category. Following are the specific categories and estimated deadlines for application submissions:
Grant Application Timeline*
Quarter 1: Education/STEM
Due: Mid-February
Application review and gifts announced: March
Quarter 2: Environment/Community Enhancement

Quarter 3: Safety/Wellness (formerly Health and Human Services)

*Deadlines are subject to change. Please check the website regularly for updates.
