Nine Lyon County COVID-19 cases, five recoveries reported Thursday

The Carson City Health and Human Services Quad County Emergency Operations Center reported nine new cases of COVID-19 and five recoveries in Lyon County Thursday.

There have been 622 total cases in Lyon County, 49 of them currently active, with 560 recoveries and 13 deaths.

CCHHS also did not provide any information about the new cases, and did not provide an update Friday because of Nevada Day.

As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Oct. 29, 240 total cases have been reported and 17 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

There have now been 1,854 total cases, 1,661 recoveries and 22 deaths in the Quad-County region.
