Owners Vijay and Kartik Vohra celebrated 15 months of work with an Open House to show off the new upgrade of the Super 8 hotel in Fernley Thursday afternoon.
The father and son team purchased the motel in April last year, and undertook a complete remodel and renovation of the hotel, with multiple new amenities available in rooms and on the property.
Each room comes with a refrigerator and microwave, as well as flat screen televisions with expanded HD cable and free Wi-Fi in all rooms.
A handful of city of Fernley officials, Chamber of Commerce members and other business and community members were on hand to tour the new rooms and help celebrate the completion of the remodel of the facility, which culminated in a ribbon cutting ceremony.
