Lyon County’s 12th COVID-19 case, region’s 12th recovery announced Wednesday

One new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County was announced Wednesday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center, bringing the total of confirmed cases in Lyon County to 12.

In addition, Quad-County EOC announced one new case in Carson City, and one recovery in Carson City.

The new Lyon County case is a woman in her 60’s.

That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the Quad-County region to 51. Of those, 26 are in Carson City, 13 in Douglas County and 12 in Lyon County. There have been seven recoveries in Carson City, four in Douglas County and one in Lyon County. There has not been a confirmed case in Storey County. The other 39 cases remain active, and there have been no deaths in the region.

Three Quad-County residents remain hospitalized due to COVID-19.
