Lyon County CASA looking for volunteers

Courtesy of Lyon County

Lyon County CASA is recruiting adult volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates.

CASA volunteers stand up for the best interests of children who have been abused or neglected. Appointed by judges, they speak up for the child’s needs in the courtroom and community. There are currently 28 children in Lyon County that have been assigned to CASA; unfortunately, this number continues to grow. We need your help to ensure that each of these children has a voice.

Make a difference in the lives of the children in your community. Become a volunteer today. Contact them today at (775) 525-5699. Like their Facebook page for more information. https://www.facebook.com/LyonCountyCASA/
