The Fernley/Wadsworth Lions Club hosted its third annual Quest for Sight luncheon Saturday, July 22 at the Fernley Senior Center.
The event was created to inform the community of the services offered by the Fernley/Wadsworth Lions Club regarding eye sight and the many modern advances made in this field of endeavor.
Lions from Fernley, Wadsworth & Fallon were at the event.
Lions Kay and Don Harmon used a vision screener to evaluate a person’s need for glasses.
Dr. Joseph Maino provided vision loss simulation glasses so attendees could see what it might be like to have vision loss because of various diseases.
