A family lost its home Saturday when a fire destroyed their house on Sycamore St.
North Lyon County Fire Protection District public information officer Jim Sullivan said the fire destroyed a home and two outbuildings at 550 Curry St.
Sullivan said firefighters were paged for the call at 12:27 p.m. He said the fire started outside, between two houses. The fences between the houses was destroyed, as well as the home and two sheds. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Sullivan said.
Four people were displaced because of the fire, but nobody was injured.
