Get ahead, catch up during winter session at WNC

At home for the holidays? Why not use some of that time to hasten your professional future?

Western Nevada College’s Winter Session is an opportunity for students to get ahead or catch up in their academic degree pursuits between the end of fall semester and the start of spring semester.         

WNC offers accelerated online courses (a few are offered in person) in three and five-week increments for full credit.

“We know how popular our Winter Session has been with students in the past and are pleased that we can offer it again between our semesters,” said WNC President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. “An important part of our mission at WNC is providing students with opportunities to complete their degrees and certifications as quickly as possible.”

Register now for 5-week classes that begin on Monday, Dec. 18, and end on Friday, Jan. 19 and three-week courses that start on Tuesday, Jan. 2, and conclude on Friday, Jan. 19.

Courses are offered in Art, Biology, Business, Core Humanities, Electrical Theory, English, Environmental Science, History, Information Systems, Management Science, Mathematics, Psychology and Social Work.
