The Quad-County Emergency Operations Center reported four new cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County on Friday, and no new recoveries
In the Quad-County region, there were 18 new cases and seven recoveries reported Friday.
The new Lyon County cases were a boy under the age of 18 with no connection to a previously reported case, a man in his 60s with no connection to a previously reported case, a woman in her 20s with no connection to a previously reported case, and a man in his 50s with no connection to a previously reported case.
There have been 222 total cases in Lyon County, 42 of them currently active, with 174 recoveries and six deaths.
As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Aug. 7, 98 total cases have been reported and 15 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. There have now been 764 total cases, 622 recoveries and 14 deaths in the Quad-County region.
