Foster/adoptive parent training scheduled

A series of classes are being offered for people who are interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents.

The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services will be holding foster/adoptive parent training in the Aspen Auditorium B on the lower level of the Carson-Tahoe Regional Medical Center, 1600 Medical Parkway in Carson City on three dates in November and December.

  • Friday, Nov. 30: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 1: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Dec. 2: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

All three classes are required for general foster/adoptive parents. Relative and Fictive Kin applicants need only complete Saturday, Dec. 1.
