Flooding reported in Fernley and Silver Springs

Flash flooding has been reported in several areas of Fernley and Silver Springs.

According to Lyon County Dispatch, flooding has been reported in the yards or in homes in the 1000 block of Fremont St., the 1500 block of Reese River Rd., the 100 block of Shadow Mountain Dr., on Jimmy’s Peak Court and on Mountain View Dr.

In Silver Springs, Pueblo, Elm, Lake and Rawhide streets all have substantial flooding and intersections have standing water.
