Fire Marshal’s office looking for arson suspect

The Nevada State Fire Marshal is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a person of interest in connection with an arson attempt that took place in Fernley last week.

On Thursday, July 27, at approximately 9:30 p.m., an unidentified individual attempted to commit arson against the North Lyon County Fire Department in Fernley. The unidentified individual may also be responsible for a number of additional fires in the Fernley area.
