Fire district hosting spaghetti feed Dec. 19 for family who lost home in fire

The North Lyon County Fire Protection District will be hosting a spaghetti feed fundraiser next Monday, Dec. 19 to benefit a family who lost their home to a fire early Friday morning.

The fire was caused by a fireplace malfunction, and left a family of eight displaced. Everyone was able to get out of the house safely and no injuries were reported.

The fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m. at the Main St. fire station. All proceeds will go to the family.
