Fernley High School student Mykayla Boyle earned national recognition in the 2018 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards with a National Silver Medal for her photography.
Boyle was identified by panels of creative professionals as one of the most talented young artists in the nation. This year, nearly 350,000 works of art and writing were submitted. Only the top one percent were recognized at the national level.

I am so proud to have a small town girl be recognized by the nation for her outstanding work. Good job and congratulations Ms. Boyle, continue doing what you love because you are obviously doing great. Now can I hire you to do a photo shoot of my grandchildren?
