Fernley FFA wins awards at UC Davis livestock judging contest

The Fernley High School FFA Livestock Judging Team had a strong showing with three individual awards and two team awards at the UC Davis Livestock Judging Contest as part of the university’s 44th annual Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Field Day last weekend.

As a team, Fernley placed seventh overall and first among teams from Nevada.

Individually, Aurora Parsons was named First High Individual (Nevada), Paisley Rosenlund was named Second High Individual (Nevada) and George Rosenlund was named Fourth High Individual (Nevada).
