Ralph Flores did not wait to vote on Saturday. He got to City Hall 20 minutes before the doors opened.
“Oh my goodness! What a line!” Flores said. “I did not have to wait at all. There was no one here in 2014.”
The voting line stretched from the Municipal Court Door all the way down the sidewalk, far past the flags. But most people appeared happy and willing to wait as long as it took to get to vote.
Jonathan Karczewski brought his entire family. His son Dante says, “It’s pretty cool! We studied voting in school. Our teacher made a book with articles to read.”
Early voting at City Hall continues through Nov 3rd.
