Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

A woman in her 30’s is Lyon County’s third positive case of COVID-19, Carson City Health and Human Services announced Saturday morning. The woman is self-isolating in her home, according to CCHHS.

The case was one of two new cases reported Saturday in the Quad-County region, bringing the total to 20. Ten of those are in Carson City, seven in Douglas County and three in Lyon County. Storey County still does not have a confirmed case.

Of the 20 cases, 18 are active and two patients have recovered.

  • Since Lyon County is very large, it would be helpful if we were told what part of the county COVID cases were in. Yerington, Fernley, Dayton, and Smith Valley are widely separated and have limited interaction. Please identify the communities!
