Unlike the old adage, “There really are some free rides in life”. Home Builder Artisan Communities has entered into a partnership with the North Lyon County Fire Protection District to pay for initial enrollment in the Fire District’s Ambulance Saver Subscription Program. Artisan will make this available for all their new home buyers in Fernley.

Ambulance rides can be very expensive. Being a subscriber to the Saver Program can save a person a lot of money and financial stress. There basically is no out of pocket expense for emergency ground ambulance transportation by NLCFPD to area hospitals for subscribers. For the rules and restrictions of the program contact the Fire District.

To kick off this partnership, the Fire District and Artisan will have an enrollment drive open to all current and future Fernley residents on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event will take place at the Southwest Meadows Subdivision located at 142 Walnut Drive in Fernley. This will be a fun event with refreshments and Fire District staff on hand to answer any questions about the program.

In addition to paying for their home buyers’ introductory membership, Artisan will raffle off 10 free subscriptions at the July 8 enrollment drive. The subscriptions are valid from July 2017 through June 2018. The free raffle tickets are available at the Southwest Meadows Sales Office Friday–Sunday (10 a.m. –5 p.m.) or at the event. The raffle winners will be announced July 8.

“If everyone in Fernley signed up for the Saver program, it would help fund much needed staffing for our growing community,” District Fire Chief Scott Huntley said.

“We offer many great amenities with our homes, we hope that none of our buyers will ever have to take advantage of this one,” said Artisan Sales Broker Laura Mahan-York.

Artisan is currently building two communities in the City of Fernley. We are proud to be a part of the growing Fernley Community. As such, Artisan wants to be involved with and contribute to the community. We see this as a Win-Win; a Win for our home buyers and a Win for the Fire District. Artisan is proud to be helping with enrollment in their fantastic Ambulance Saver Program.
