Trooper dedication ceremony at NNVMC June 18

The Nevada Veteran’s Coalition would like to invite the public to a special dedication ceremony for The Trooper monument at 10 a.m. June 18 at the Northern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Refreshments will be provided.

Special guests include Col. Kat Miller, Director of the Nevada Department of Veterans Services; Gen. M. Hanifan (Army National Guard), Caleb Cage (Homeland Security Nevada) and Lacy J. Dalton (vocalist for National Anthem and Amazing Grace).

There will be a 17-man mock charge with the Civil War Re-enactors. In lieu of a rifle volley, there will be a three cannon fire. J.T. Gillich is displaying his antique military vehicles.
