Veterans Coalition seeking volunteers to help pick up wreaths

Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

The Nevada Veterans Coalition is seeking volunteers to help pick up the nearly 18,000 wreaths placed at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery during last month’s Wreaths Across America event.

The Veterans Coalition will be picking up the wreaths Wednesday, Jan. 23 starting at 8 a.m.

“They were beautiful, but it’s time to get ready for next year, darn it,” said Nevada Veterans Coalition public information officer Tom Draughon. “If you want to join us and help would love to see you.”
