Two new cases of COVID-19 and one recovery of a previous case were reported Friday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The new cases are a woman in her 60s with no connection to any previous case, and a man in his 40s with no connection to a previous case.
Lyon County has had a total of 98 confirmed cases, with 71 of them having recovered. There have been two deaths in the county due to COVID-19.
As of 6 p.m. June 16, 43 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.
In the Quad County region, there have now been 274 total cases, 198 recoveries and seven deaths. Five Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
