Two new cases of COVID-19 and four recoveries in Lyon County were reported Thursday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The new cases Thursday are both men in their 60s with no connections to a previously reported case.
In the Quad-County region, there were a total of 12 new cases and 23 recoveries reported Wednesday.
There have been 164 total cases in Lyon County, 32 of them currently active, with 130 recoveries and two deaths.
As of 6 p.m. July 23, 75 total cases have been reported and 13 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. In all, there have now been 555 total cases, 419 recoveries and nine deaths in the Quad-County region. Thirteen Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
