Three new cases of COVID-19 Sunday and two Monday were reported in Lyon County Saturday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The new cases reported Sunday in Lyon County were a woman in her 30s with a recent travel history, a man in his 30s with a recent travel history and a man in his 20s with no connection to a previously reported case.
The cases reported Monday are a woman in her 70s with a connection to a previously reported case and a woman in her 60s with a social connection to a previously reported case.
There have been 147 total cases in Lyon County, with 112 recoveries and two deaths.
As of 6 p.m. July 12, 68 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.
In all, there have now been 460 total cases, 317 recoveries and eight deaths in the Quad-County region. Ten Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
