Three Lyon County COVID-19 cases, four recoveries reported Tuesday

The Quad-County Emergency Operations Center reported three new cases of COVID-19 and four recoveries in Lyon County Tuesday.

The new cases are a man in his 80s with no connection to a previously reported case, a woman in her 60s with no connection to a previously reported case and a woman in her 40s with no connection to a previously reported case.

There have been 276 total cases in Lyon County, 61 of them currently active, with 209 recoveries and six deaths.

As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Aug. 17, 118 total cases have been reported and 25 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

There have now been 894 total cases, 752 recoveries and 15 deaths in the Quad-County region.
