Three FHS sports looking for assistant coaches

With the beginning of their seasons rapidly approaching, three Fernley High School teams are still looking for assistant coaches.

Fernley High School still has four open extra duty positions, for an assistant boys soccer coach, an assistant volleyball coach, and two assistant football coaches.

Anyone interested should contact athletic director Paul Sullivan at 575-3400 or psullivan@lyoncsd.org.

The Vaqueros football team opens its season this Friday night at Bishop (Calif.), while the volleyball team begins the season with a match Aug. 28 at Fallon. The boys soccer team has a scrimmage Aug. 31 at Dayton before playing its first game Sept. 6 against White Pine.
