Person found dead in UNR campus identified as Fernley woman

The Washoe County Regional Medical Center has identified the woman found dead on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno on Thursday as Quincy Russell, 21, of Fernley.

Her body was found in the quad area of campus and she was declared dead on scene. Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma. Investigators are waiting on the the medical examiner’s report for the cause of death.
