One person detained after Wadsworth shooting

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday on the 400 block of Main Street in Wadsworth. One victim transported for treatment. A suspect was detained and cooperating with investigators.

A suspect was detained and one person was transported to the hospital after a shooting Sunday evening in Wadsworth.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Main St. in Wadsworth.

WCSO reported that the suspect who was detained was cooperating with investigators.
