The Carson City Health and Human Services Quad County Emergency Operations Center reported one death of a Lyon County resident due to COVID-19, eight new cases and 11 recoveries Tuesday.
There have been 2,256 total cases in Lyon County, 1,039 of them currently active, with 1,172 recoveries and 44 deaths.
As of 6 p.m. Jan. 5, 949 total cases had been reported and 460 cases were active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. There have now been 9,547 total cases, 4,943 recoveries and 128 deaths in the Quad-County region.
