For the second time this week, and just the second time in two months, no new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Lyon County Friday.
No new cases were also reported on Monday, Sept. 7, which had been the first day without a new case in the county since July 18. Three recoveries were reported Friday, after six cases and two recoveries were reported Tuesday.
As of Friday, there have been 372 total cases in Lyon County, 42 of them currently active, with 324 recoveries and six deaths.
As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Sept. 12, 163 total cases have been reported and 16 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.
There have now been 1,131 total cases, 1,009 recoveries and 15 deaths in the Quad-County region.
