Nevada Veterans Coalition to hold annual 9/11 Remembrance

The Nevada Veterans Coalition will mark the 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks by holding their annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at 9 a.m. Monday at the Main Street Fire Station.

The Veterans Coalition will host the event in collaboration with the North Lyon County Fire Department, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Nevada State Police and the Nevada National Guard.  

The keynote speaker will be Major General Ondra L. Berry, Adjutant General of the Nevada National Guard, with specially commentary by Mayor Neal McIntyre.

Events will include a bagpiper, multi-agency color guard and speakers, as well as a special Healing Garden Flag Display.
