Lyon County Future Farmers of America (FFA) teams standout performance at Nationals

Fernley, Yerington and Smith Valley FFA team all came home with medals from the 91st National FFA Convention and Expo that was held in Indianapolis, IN from Oct. 24-27.
With more than 650,000 contestants competing in Indianapolis, Fernley FFA Livestock Judging Team won the silver medal, Smith Valley FFA Parliamentary Procedures Team won the bronze medal and Katelynn Miller, from Yerington FFA, won the bronze medal for Employment Skills.
