LCSO to host town hall on new marijuana law

The Fernley Reporter

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office will conduct two town hall forums as part of its community outreach to help church leaders, parents, and community residents understand the new marijuana law and the challenges for parents to protect and safeguard their children. The discussion and presentation will include indicators of marijuana impairment and edible concerns, as well as a question and answer session.

The first forum will be held at the Grace Baptist Church at 460 West Main Street in Fernley on Jan. 23 at 6:30 p.m.

The second forum will be at the Calvary Chapel at 28 Enterprise Way in Dayton on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.
