LCSO confirms homicide in three Silver Springs deaths

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the three people found dead Saturday night in two locations in Silver Springs were the victims of homicide.

LCSO administrative director Michael Carlson also said the suspects in the case have fled the area.

Carlson said the sheriff’s office will be releasing additional information this afternoon, including the identities of the victims.

Regarding rumors circulating in the community and on social media, he said LCSO does not believe fentanyl is involved and did not cause the deaths of the three victims.
