Four new cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County were reported Tuesday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The new cases announced Tuesday were a man in his 40s with no connection to a previously reported case, a man in his 70s with a recent travel history, a man in his 30s with no connection to a previously reported case and a man in his 30s with no connection to a previously reported case. There were also four recoveries reported in Lyon County Tuesday.
In addition, Quad-County EOC made a correction to a case reported Sunday. A case was reported as a Carson City woman in her 60s, but the woman is a Lyon County resident.
There have now been 120 total cases in Lyon County, and out of those there have been 90 recoveries and two deaths.
As of 6 p.m. June 29, 52 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.
In all, there were 13 new cases and 13 recoveries in the Quad-County region Tuesday. There have now been 346 total cases, 243 recoveries and seven deaths in the Quad-County region. Ten Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
