Healthy Communities Coalition’s Stand Tall and the Family Resource Center are hosting the 5th Annual Turkey Trot 5K at Fernley High on Saturday, Nov. 18 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The event will help raise funds for the annual Stand Tall scholarship and will also support the Family Resource Center.
The run begins at the Fernley High parking lot, and will involve a trail run uphill.
There’s also a one-mile fun run/walk option for those who do not want to tackle the big hill.
Registration, which can be completed on the day of the event or before, is $15 for adults and $10 for students.
Stand Tall coordinator Alisha Moss says, “Bring the whole family and start a healthy new family tradition.”
