First day of Fall? Time to think Spring.

Joseph Maino, The Fernley Reporter

The Fernley Garden Club is dedicated to the beautification of Fernley through many of its garden related activities. This fall, in anticipation of spring, they are planting seeds and perennials as the weather gets cooler.

Even though the club got started a bit late, it gave out four Garden of the Month awards that included gifts from Lowe’s. A Fernley Library restoration project was also begun to improve the library’s grounds.

To celebrate fall, the club is seeking potential October Garden of the Month awardees who incorporate the best Halloween decorations with the most beautiful gardens.
