The Fernley High School dance team is looking for graduated dance team or drill team members to come back and join the current team for a Homecoming performance.
Coach Laken Boonlua is trying to start a tradition of having alumni perform during Homecoming each year with the current team. She is looking for graduates from any year to participate.
“We’d love to see all types of Fernley alumni at Homecoming but I can at least start with dance,” Boonlua said.
Former dance or drill team members who are interested can contact coach Laken Boonlua by email at vaquerosdanceteam@gmail.com or via FHS Vaqueros Dance on Facebook or @vaquerosdance on Instagram.
The Homecoming date for this year’s season has not yet been announced. The scheduled home dates for the football season are Aug. 11, Aug. 18, Sept. 22, Oct. 6 and Oct. 13.
