Cottonwood students celebrating Nevada Day Thursday

Cottonwood Elementary School will hold its annual Nevada Day Celebration, Thursday, Oct. 27.

The event is an annual celebration of everything that makes Nevada so special.

Students are encouraged to dress up as someone or something from Nevada past or present. Some ideas are cowboys and cowgirls, miners, etc. No Halloween costumes are allowed. Students will release at the regular time. There will be no school Friday, Oct. 28th for the state holiday.

Monday, Oct. 31 is a regular school day. They will not be celebrating Halloween during the school day and again ask that students keep their Halloween costumes at home.
