10th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner to be held at Fire Station

Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

The 10th annual Fernley Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25 at the Main Street Fire Station.

There is no charge for the dinner, which is sponsored by the Fernley Rotary Club and put together entirely by volunteers.

The dinner began in 2012 as the idea from 10-year-old Sarah Jean Gleason, who believes we need to band together, help each other and build new relationships to strengthen our community.
